Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Functions:

  • Coordinate and manage the procurement of transportation services, logistics and other services required for the shipments.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring cost-effective and reliable partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and manage service levels to ensure quotation efficiency.
  • Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain qualified service.

Key Client Operations:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their specific transportation needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving any issues related to the services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide customized solutions for clients, including pricing, scheduling, and logistics support if needed.
  • Coordinate with overseas partners and vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of services.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on key client accounts for service review, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring service delivery aligns with client expectations.
  • Ensure client-specific contracts, service agreements, and operational guidelines are followed.

Expected Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or a related operations role, preferably in the transportation or forwarding industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve issues promptly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software/systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
