JOB IN SUMMARY
For this role, you will be responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end procurement process by assisting with sourcing suppliers, conducting RFx events, supporting data spend analysis, and external market data collection.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sourcing Suppliers: Assist in the preparation and processing of market analysis, sourcing activities, conducting RFx events, maintaining a comprehensive supplier database.
- Data Analysis: Support data spend analysis, spend report, cost analysis and external market data collection.
- Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate procurement records (spend data, RFx documents, contracts, etc.) Organize and file procurement documents for easy retrieval. Prepare reports and summaries as needed.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with NCP team members and internal stakeholders at BUs to collect data, identify cost saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve procurement-related inquiries.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as required. Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and assist with correspondence.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2-5 years in procurement/buying, supply chain, or similar, ideally in food ingredients, chemicals or manufacturing.
- Proven experience as a procurement assistant or in a similar role is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (both written & verbal), & Interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical background: Data analysis/ analytics, visualization, insight generation, reporting & presentation.
- Proficiency with SAP, MS Office; especially Excel, Power BI & complex data analysis.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing procurement processes.
- Integrity and ethical behavior in handling sensitive procurement information.
