Job Description:
1. Strategic Sourcing & Market Intelligence
- Supplier Identification: Conduct proactive market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate market trends, and analyze pricing benchmarks.
- Sourcing Execution: Prepare, issue, and manage Request for Proposals (RFPs) analyze responses and lead the selection process for suitable suppliers.
- Market Analysis: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging suppliers and industry technologies to drive competitive advantage.
2. Contract Management & Negotiation
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Compliance: Ensure all sourcing activities, contracts, and procurement actions adhere to legal requirements, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Risk Mitigation: Contribute to risk assessment processes to identify and proactively mitigate supply chain vulnerabilities.
3. Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
- Performance Monitoring: Track, monitor, and report on supplier performance against agreed-upon KPIs, identifying and implementing areas for improvement.
- Relationship Stewardship: Act as the primary point of contact for key suppliers foster effective communication and resolve operational issues to enhance collaboration.
4. Operational & Cross-Functional Support
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze procurement data to support strategy development, cost-management initiatives, and quality improvements.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee delivery coordination to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional departments (e.g., Finance, Operations, Logistics) to align procurement activities with business goals.
5. Others
- Project management: Take ownership of procurement-related projects, from inception to execution. Define objectives, manage timelines, allocate resources, and report on project milestones to ensure successful delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree of Supply Chain Management, Economics / Business, Foreign Trade
- At least 02 years of experience in procurement
- A quick learner with good research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skill
- Excellent organisational and negotiation skills
- Highly motivated with a desire to learn
- Attention to detail, the ability to multitask
- Good at problem solving and stakeholder management.
