Purpose of the position:
The role is authorized to design and develop data models, analytical frameworks, and reporting dashboards to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility. The specialist may utilize advanced analytics tools, including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and AI-based techniques such as predictive analytics or machine learning, provides analytical and technical support to Operations and other cross-functional teams by evaluating manufacturing data, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Continuous Improvement & Cost Optimization
- Proactively identify opportunities: Monitor manufacturing and broader business processes to identify waste, operational bottlenecks, and cost-reduction areas.
- Drive CI initiatives: Assist in designing, executing, and tracking continuous improvement projects aimed at maximizing profitability and efficiency.
- Evaluate project feasibility: Conduct feasibility studies, perform cost-benefit analysis, and calculate ROI for future projects (e.g., new equipment investments, production line expansions).
2. Data Processing & Performance Evaluation
- Act as the primary handler of data processing to evaluate the performance of 4 manufacturing factories. Analyse complex operational data to diagnose organizational bottlenecks and uncover hidden improvement opportunities.
- Support the development of predictive and classification models using machine learning techniques.
3. Executive Reporting & Presentation
- Data Storytelling: Translate complex analytical data and CI project outcomes into clear, concise, and strategic business reports.
- Board-level preparation: Prepare high-quality presentation materials tailored for the Board of Directors.
- Time management: Deliver accurate reports and presentations under high-pressure and strict deadlines.
4. Cross-functional Support & Ad-hoc Tasks
- Provide data-backed support: Act as a flexible resource to assist other departments (Technical, Supply Chain, Operations, HR) in solving operational problems.
- Handle ad-hoc requests: Rapidly respond to urgent analysis requests and special task assignments from the Regional Manager (R&D) to ensure overall organizational success.
5. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable legal regulations.
6. Additional Tasks: to perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.
Requirements for the position:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Industrial Management, or other relevant disciplines. Holding an MBA or having a strong management educational background is highly preferred to fulfill the strategic and business-oriented nature of the role.
- Experience: Junior Level with a strong, proven background in continuous improvement (CI/CD), data analysis, business intelligence, or manufacturing operations.
