Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Performance

• Ensure safe operations with full compliance to internal standards and statutory regulations • Drive KPIs across process safety, reliability, productivity, and profitability

• Oversee daily operations, production planning, and asset performance

• Lead continuous improvement to optimize cost and efficiency

• Ensure quality assurance systems and product/service standards are met

Safety & Compliance

• Champion a zero-incident safety culture with visible leadership

• Ensure robust incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions

• Drive proactive risk identification and mitigation across plants

Maintenance & Reliability

• Ensure effective maintenance strategies to maximize asset life cycle

• Lead turnaround planning, budgeting, and execution

• Monitor reliability performance and implement improvements

Projects & Business Support

• Initiate and support asset optimization and expansion projects

• Provide operational input for new investments and acquisitions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ROC, Planning, Finance, Procurement, etc.)

Leadership & People Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing operations team

• Drive talent development, succession planning, and capability building

• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering

• Minimum 10 years experience in operations/maintenance of continuous process plants • Minimum 5 years experience as Plant Manager (or equivalent leadership role)

• Experience in ASU, HYCO, or SMR operations preferred

• Strong knowledge of process safety, plant operations, and maintenance systems

• Good understanding of local regulations and international standards

• Experience in project execution (installation/commissioning) is an advantage
