What will be your mission
Responsible for act as a technical reference in reconciliation and payments, leading complex analyses, supporting managerial decision-making, and ensuring the stability and efficiency of financial flows.
What will your day-to-day be like
- Act as a technical reference in regulation, registration, and reconciliation of receivables
- Ensure compliance with Central Bank regulations (e.g., Resolution 264), card scheme rules, payment arrangements, and registries
- Lead complex reconciliations of transactions, costs, receivables, settlements, advances, and bank balances
- Analyze and resolve highly complex financial and regulatory discrepancies
- Ensure the correct application of end-to-end settlement and reconciliation rules
- Validate and approve records, reconciliations, manual refunds, and high-impact portfolio adjustments
- Structure and enhance internal controls, KPIs, documentation, and regulatory governance
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring quality and traceability of evidence
- Assess the impact of regulatory changes and propose process and system adjustments
- Produce structured reports for management and stakeholders
- Support month-end closing and management reporting
- Work cross-functionally with Technology, Product, Finance, Legal, Risk, acquirers, and external partners
- Support leadership in defining KPIs and improvement initiatives
- Support system testing (UAT) and validation of new solutions
- Actively contribute to process improvements, automation, and operational efficiency
- Act as a technical and operational mentor to mid-level and junior analysts.
Requirements:
What you need to take on the challenge:
- Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields.
- Advanced English (speaking, reading, and writing is mandatory)
- Advanced level of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- SQL (Experience in other programming languages is a differential)
- Comfortable working with large datasets and incomplete information.
- Data-drive profile, being capable of dealing with complex models and analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams and external
stakeholders
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in financial institutions (banks, fintechs or payment institutions).
- Experience with operational or financial reconciliation processes.
- Knowledge of credit card receivables registration in the Brazilian market.
- Familiarity with BACEN regulations related to card receivables..
