Job Description:
The Fulfilled by Shopee (FBS) Operational Excellence team is a regional taskforce focused on improving fulfillment center operations across Southeast Asia. We work closely with local teams to deliver practical, high-impact initiatives that strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in our warehouse network.
Our role combines on-the-ground execution with data-driven problem solving, directly supporting Shopee's commitment to fast, reliable delivery and strong seller and buyer experiences. This is a high-travel role - with significant time spent on-site at fulfillment centers across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Shopee fulfillment centers (FCs) across the region to lead the design and on-site implementation of operational improvements
- Collaborate with warehouse leaders and site teams to identify root causes of issues, design workable solutions, and implement changes directly with ground teams
- Manage initiatives end-to-end: define the problem, set clear KPIs, execute pilots, measure outcomes, and scale successful solutions
- Utilise SQL and Python to analyze data, uncover bottlenecks, track performance, and guide decisions
- Drive both short-term problem solving and longer-term improvements, including inventory placement strategies, warehouse layout redesign, manpower planning, productivity initiatives, network design optimization, and automation pilots
- Lead high-priority projects such as new site launches, process redesigns, automation deployments, and cost-reduction programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, finance, safety) to ensure improvements align with broader business needs
- Document and codify proven practices into playbooks and SOPs, and drive their adoption across markets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
- Willing and able to travel extensively across Southeast Asia, including extended stays in overseas markets.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in fulfillment, logistics, supply chain, or a dynamic environment
- We welcome candidates who are graduating and available to commence by July 2025, with strong analytical skills, a hands-on mindset, and the drive to learn quickly, to apply
- Strong analytical skills comfortable using SQL and Python to work with data and generate insights
- Practical problem solver who can lead changes directly on the warehouse floor and work closely with ground teams
- Proven ability to run projects end-to-end and align stakeholders across teams.
