About the position
Marou is looking for an On-Premises (Horeca) Sales Executivewhois responsible for expanding sales distribution and revenue in the Horeca segment, which includes sales forecast, sales landing, new sales opportunities, and ensuring brand exposure and visibility at the highest level.
Responsibilities
Sales
- Hit sales targets and achieve the segment growth assigned by the Supervisor.
- Own the entire sales forecast from the report, data, insights, growth potential, volume, new products listing, etc.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales landing to achieve a high degree of accuracy.
- Visit sales outlets to get insights, build and promote strong relationships with customers (nationwide).
Business Development
- Must be able to function as a team player and execute the strategic channel plan assigned by the Supervisor.
- Own entire customer plan to maximize sales opportunities.
- Seeking new sales opportunities while being fully aware of the brand competition status.
- Seeking new events or gatherings of the industry to make brand exposure and make more business.
Coordination
- Seek and coordinate with trade marketing to execute suitable brand exposure activities such as POSM set up, trade plans, customer orientation and training, etc.
- Ensure brand visibility at the highest level at sales points
- Ensure seamless and efficient cross-functional and teamwork with internals.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business administration, hospitality management or a related field (preferred but not always required).
- At least 2 years of experience in sales on the HORECA channel, including 2 years managing key customers (4*,5* hotel/resort, restaurant chain) is required.
- Having experience in the Food & Beverage industry is preferred.
- Strong English communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
- Strong Sales skills, proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Successful previous experience as a sales representative, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
