Officer, Purchasing

Responsible for purchasing spare parts for production machines (local), fabrication parts & tools, piping and fitting parts, electric equipment and repairing services

I. Responsibilities

1. Cost Saving Execution

• Negotiate with vendors for better price, payment terms and lead time;
• Monitor and reduce costs without compromising quality;
• Search and evaluate potential vendors for lower cost and better delivery time and installation services.

2. Vendor Performance Execution

• Monitor and work with vendors to improve vendor’s performance: reduce respond time, on time delivery, goods quality and installation services;
• Resolving shipments in error with suppliers and deal with under orders, over orders and damaged goods;
• Vendor assessment follow up.

3. Purchase Efficiency Improvement

• Meeting with End-users and department to verify the clear technical requirements, implement schedule to avoid purchasing wrong goods;
• Compose Sales Contract based Contract and Annex templates;
• Implementation and enhancement of CPS and its corresponding workflow;
• Coordination and education with all related departments for further execution and optimization of workflow;
• Liaising with vendors, logistic and warehouse teams to ensure goods are delivered and received on time;
• Staying up-to-date with the latest market and industry trends;
• Manage the data accuracy and complete all the records in timely complete all the records in timely;
• Monitoring closely for all order follow up from sourcing to payment schedule;
• Update reports on purchase activities, including cost saving.

II. Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor&aposs Degree in major: Foreign Trade, Supply Chain Management, International Business or related.

2. Experience: From 2 years of experience in purchasing position, experience in the Textiles and/ or Garment manufacturing is preferred;

3. Language: Fluency in Chinese and/ or English;

4. Professional Qualifications: 

• ​Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policy, and systems;
• Have working experience in purchasing mechanical parts, electric device, machinery installation services.

5. Others: Negotiate, accurate and precise attention to detail, able to work under high pressure.
