JOB SUMMARY
The job holder will be responsible for coordinating with the PMC Team and representing PMC to collaborate with other project teams to ensure new projects go live and shipments are delivered on time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
- Maintain department SOPs and WIs.
- Manage the NPD team to meet KPIs, assign tasks, and organize training.
- Collaborate with PMG and project teams; be responsible for material and capacity planning, and follow up on risk buy / risk build.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams and drive team members to achieve delivery and launch targets.
- Anticipate supply risks, propose solutions, and take proactive actions to ensure on-time delivery with no supply risk.
- Develop in-depth understanding of suppliers manufacturing processes, tooling, machining, and resource capacity; identify bottlenecks and drive capacity improvements to meet business needs.
- Coordinate with Engineering to organize EB/QB activities.
- Ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity.
- Lead team building and people management.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
- University/College degree.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Planning-Material Control, Supply Chain, at Assistant Manager level or above.
Experience
- Experience in supply chain management.
- Knowledge of shipping and logistics.
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiar with ERP systems; Oracle experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proactive, calm under pressure, self-motivated, committed, and able to work independently.
- Good time management skills.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written); Chinese communication skills are a plus.
- Willing to travel for supplier visits.
