Job Description:
- Responsible for monitoring Shopee & Seamoney's backbone network, data center network, and related networks. Ensure the rapid detection, notification, location, and resolution of network faults to maintain application stability and availability.
- Propose and implement standard designs and optimizations for network architecture.
- Enhance visibility of network infrastructure by participating in and refining standard processes. Collect and establish databases for network devices, links, and configurations. Set up accurate and automated network alerts and notifications using software tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, network engineering, or a related field or equivalent.
- Experience in network operations and maintenance, preferably with a background in large-scale internet or OTT datacenter networks.
- Familiar with designing, building, and optimizing processes for networking systems, including network device/link CMDB, IPAM, NetFlow/SFlow-based traffic monitoring, and Pingmesh-based network alerting.
- Experienced in ensuring network reliability across one or more areas, such as datacenter networks, backbone networks, ISP vendor links, and Internet traffic.
Skills below are optional but preferable:
- Experienced in network traffic management for e-commerce and financial services.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the script languages: Python, Shell.
- Advanced Cisco, Huawei, or equivalent certification is a plus.
