The Challenge: Architecting Autonomous AIYoull work on some of the most challenging and exciting systems in agentic AI today:
- Experimental AI Prototypes: Design and build novel prototypes that explore new, groundbreaking use cases for our AI agents.
- Real-Time Agent Infrastructure: Develop the high-throughput, low-latency infrastructure that powers autonomous AI agent decision-making.
- Stealth Engineering: Engineer sophisticated anti-bot and stealth techniques to operate reliably across hundreds of thousands of diverse web domains.
- Massive-Scale Browser Automation: Create systems capable of scaling and managing thousands of browsers with ultra-low latency and high performance.
What Youll Do: Strategize, Architect, and LeadAs the founding Tech Lead, you will be the team&aposs technical authority, responsible for turning our ambitious vision into reality.
- Define the Technical Vision: You will architect our long-term technical strategy and create a year-long roadmap, ensuring every project ladders up to our core mission.
- Lead Complex Engineering Efforts: Drive the design, development, and scaling of sophisticated ML systems powered by deep neural networks. You&aposll be the go-to person for tackling the toughest performance, scalability, and technical debt challenges.
- Innovate and Explore: Understand industry-wide trends and champion the exploration of new technologies (especially in the LLM and Agentic AI space) to keep our platform ahead of the curve.
- Collaborate and Influence: Partner closely with our US-based engineering teams and organizational leaders. Use data and deep technical insights to communicate complex systems, influence staffing for new opportunities, and drive cross-functional solutions.
- Mentor and Elevate: As a founding member, you will help set the standard for technical excellence, improving the performance and skills of the entire team.
Who You Are: A Proven Leader and BuilderYou are a seasoned technical leader with a passion for solving real-world business problems through machine learning. You are excited by the prospect of building something new and have the experience to guide a team through complex technical terrain.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A combined 8+ years of professional programming experience, or 4+ years of experience with a PhD.
- Proven experience setting the technical direction for a team to predictably and systematically improve live, production-scale ML systems.
- Hands-on expertise with modern deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- A track record of successfully planning year-long roadmaps and driving large, team-wide engineering projects to completion.
- Exceptional ability to use data and analysis to explain technical problems and work across functions to drive solutions.
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English, enabling effective collaboration with our US-based teams.
Preferred Qualifications (The Ideal Candidate will have):
- A Master&aposs degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with the training and fine-tuning of Large Language Models (LLMs) to achieve clear business outcomes.
- A strong understanding of Information Retrieval concepts (indexing, querying, ranking), especially as they apply to systems like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Deep knowledge of advanced data structures, algorithms, graph theory, and optimization techniques.
