Position Title: Marketing & Product Strategy Specialist – ASPAC
Location: The Nexus Tower, District 1, HCMC
Tenure: 6-month contract (maternity cover)
Job Profile: The PU Product Specialist – ASPAC will be responsible for driving product brand strategy implementation and managing the product portfolio across multiple markets in the ASPAC region. This role ensures alignment with global strategies while delivering profitable growth through effective product positioning, pricing, and new product introductions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Product Brand Strategy Implementation
- Support execution of global brand and product strategies, including positioning, packaging, pricing, and channel management.
- Ensure all product communication aligns with brand strategy and complies with comms and RoTG guidelines.
- Assist Marketing Manager in delivering product brand P&Ls; identify opportunities for incremental gross margin growth through cost reduction or volume growth.
- Lead and execute PBA and new brand strategy implementation; provide input to ASPAC PUMR for product portfolio management.
- Manage multi-market product projects from both marketing and GSC (PCC) perspectives.
- Develop competitive product portfolio strategies to drive growth through close interaction with customers and sales teams.
2. Product Portfolio Management & New Product Introduction
- Create new product launch plans and align with Marketing Managers; accountable for PBA implementation in PU.
- Lead SKU rationalization for a profitable portfolio and manage product life cycles effectively.
- Provide inputs to global brand teams for ODIMS during early stages based on consumer insights.
- Lead NPI group for ASPAC and coordinate new product launches with global, regional, and local teams (technology, supply chain, demand, procurement).
- Manage cars, bikes, and CV product range; ensure accurate and timely Streamline and ODIMS inputs.
- Fulfill agreed Product Quality & Compliance accountabilities as part of the Marketing role card.
3. Pricing Implementation
- Implement price setting in line with Global Pricing strategy; work closely with Pricing Team.
- Lead pricing recommendations for new product launches in Turkey, ensuring compliance with IPP principles and pricing DOAs.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- University degree in Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in brand and product strategy, ideally in B2C and B2B2C environments.
- Familiarity with matrix organizations and complex customer interfaces.
- Lubricants experience desirable but not essential.
- Strong personal impact, interpersonal, and communication skills.
