About The Role

This is a high-impact, strategic individual contributor role focused on the end-to-end execution of supply chain planning for the Hardlines category over an extended six-month horizon. You will act as a pivotal link between global suppliers and retail markets, managing the surge in volume during peak cycles and overseeing the stabilization period thereafter. Your expertise will be critical in navigating supplier transitions and identifying supply chain constraints to maintain a robust, high-performing flow of goods from various global origins to our customers.

What You'll Do

• Strategy Development & Optimization: Build and optimize supply chain execution strategies across assigned categories to maximize in-stock positions while supporting Every Day Low Cost (EDLC) objectives.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain robust supplier partnerships, providing expert guidance on inventory management best practices and ensuring smooth demand fulfillment.
• Global Supply Chain Intelligence: Monitor global trade developments and origin shifts, incorporating market insights into supply chain risk mitigation and contingency planning.
• Peak Season Execution: Lead the end-to-end operational support for the high-volume peak window, ensuring all inventory flow aligns with heightened global demand and supply objectives.
• Supplier Transition Leadership: Manage critical supplier transitions and the shifting of volumes across global origins to ensure zero disruption to the product flow.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Support the S&OP meeting structure and collaborate closely with sourcing, logistics, and retail teams to synchronize demand/supply planning.
• Operational Oversight: Identify and resolve order exceptions and supply chain constraints, focusing on maintaining optimal inventory levels and on-time delivery performance.
• Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Identify cost-reduction opportunities and implement operational excellence improvements across existing processes and digital tools.
• Data-Backed Proposals: Analyze large datasets to provide actionable insights, building data-backed proposals to influence cross-functional decisions and achieve KPI goals.
• Expertise Development: Provide subject matter expertise and training to global sourcing agents, suppliers, and retail markets to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

What You'll Bring

• Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: 5–10 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain or Logistics. Experience serving major U.S. retail customers or working for a global brand/importer is highly preferred.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Deep knowledge of supply chain management principles and their practical application in a high-volume retail environment.
• Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in analyzing large datasets to identify trends, mitigate risks, and build data-backed proposals for supply chain optimization.
• Communication & Influence: Excellent command of English with the ability to communicate complex supply chain priorities to diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and experience leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Organizational Agility: Strong planning and organizing skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
