Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all Quality functions for the assigned manufacturing sites at VSIP1 and VSIP3, serving as the escalation point for quality‑related risk assessments and decision‑making.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the quality management systems to enhance customer satisfaction and overall business performance.
  • Ensure that products and services meet customer expectations and comply with all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Lead teams in resolving quality issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Manage and guide experienced professionals who work with a high degree of independence and responsibility.
  • Receive objectives and determine the appropriate allocation of resources to meet schedules and goals. Provide guidance to subordinates within established company policies, recommend policy changes, establish procedures, and manage assigned areas responsibly. Utilize time and resources effectively to deliver on-time results.
  • Address issues of diverse scope that require evaluating multiple factors and understanding current business trends. Follow processes and operational policies to identify suitable methods and techniques for problem-solving. Act as an advisor to subordinates to meet deadlines or resolve technical issues. Develop and manage schedules, performance requirements, and may oversee budget-related responsibilities.
  • Manage the coordination of departmental or sectional activities possibly through subordinate supervisors with responsibility for outcomes related to cost, methods, and staffing. In some cases, oversee functional areas without direct subordinate employees.
  • Frequently interact with subordinate supervisors, customers, and peer managers across functional areas or other company divisions. Often lead collaborative efforts among project team members to achieve shared objectives.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or sciences, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Typically, 8+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Typically requires 3+ years of managerial or leadership experience.

Skills

  • Strong technical expertise in manufacturing/engineering quality assurance and reliability engineering.
  • Extensive experience using statistical and QA/QC tools for data collection, research, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, FMEA, SPC, customer service handling, 8D, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
  • Proven project management, facilitation, and problem ‑ solving skills.
  • Highly self ‑ motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex issues.
  • Upholds high standards of ethics, professionalism, leadership, and competency.
