Job Description

Overview

Manager, Group Strategic Planning is responsible for providing advice on Group strategies (10Y-3Y-1Y) establishment, long-term objectives and business plans of BUs and subsidiaries. Additionally, the incumbent is accountable for monitoring Corporate Functions work plan, reviewing and managing key performance indicators (KPI) of Group Functions/ BUs/ Subsidiaries and developing actionable plans to accomplish the objectives.

Responsibility

1. Establish Group strategy and business plans of BUs and subsidiaries

  • Analyze the organization to identify strengths, weaknesses, operational efficiency, and business prospects
  • Synthesize data on comprehensive Group strategies (10Y-3Y-1Y) to develop coherent and effective strategies
  • Conduct market evaluation to identify emerging industry trends and competitive threats
  • Make recommendations based on internal and external factors to formulate strategic initiatives and measures to achieve Group long-term goals
  • Based on strategies and initiatives to develop actionable plans and viable scenarios for mitigating any potential risks
  • Monitor, forecast & update quarterly to provide critical information & consultancy for Group BOD/BOM to control all key milestones of Business Plan.

2. Monitor and review key performance indicators (KPI)

  • Conduct high-level analysis to propose development options in each project for BOM/BOD.
  • Set up Key Performance Indicators and assess the performance of Group Functions/ BUs/ Subsidiaries to monitor Group/BU Business Plan implementation.

Required skills and behaviors

1. Background / Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Strategic planning, Management and other related fields. Masters degree, MBA/ CFA / CPA is preferable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business administration, consulting or strategic planning in real estate
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing or supervising teams of multiple discipline professionals
  • Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures
  • Experience of working on SAP and Planning modules of SAP is a plus
  • Proficiency in English
