Job Description
Develop and maintain volume, capacity and performance models for 3PL-delivery performance
- Create measurable definitions of good, average and poor performance across business lines
- Align forecasts, definitions and expectations across teams
- Develop multiple performance scenarios to evaluate key business risks
- Understand the cascade effects of logistics performance, coordinate with other departments to develop contingency + mitigation plans
Manage critical system inputs that control allocation, user experience settings, order flow
- Develop processes to ensure 100% accurate and timely system inputs
- Diagnose and correct system and configuration deficiencies
- Recognize and predict complex system behaviors and interactions
- Coordinate with Product Managers to identify and implement system improvements
Monitor daily volume and performance across providers, business lines and metrics
- Spot performance issues early, escalate and coordinate with teams on mitigation
- Identify metric gaps that negatively impact our users
- Alert relevant teams to risks and possible windfalls
Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance the team's capability, efficiency or deliverables
Learn the business; engage with other teams and verticals
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations, Bachelor's degree, and strong data analysis skills.
- Problem Solving and Critical Thinking - Identify the root cause of various business issues; recognize how these issues relate to our goals, recommend effective solutions
- Detail Oriented - Diligent and disciplined, always considering potential pitfalls and taking steps to proactively mitigate, holds themselves to high standards
- Strong Analytical Abilities - Seeks data-driven recommendations; challenges the quality of data available, and can speak clearly to their findings, comfortable with handling large data sets
- Systems Mindset - Logical, experienced in working with algorithms and technical systems, effective at root-causing or diagnosing unexpected results
