Training & Development Lead

Location: Molex Hung Yen, Vietnam

Function: Human Resources – Training & Development

Reports to: HR Manager

Today, we are expanding with a new high-tech facility in Thang Long II Industrial Park, Hung Yen, backed by a $145 million investment and spanning 100,000 m². This state-of-the-art site will produce advanced products, including high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.

Role Purpose

The Training & Development Lead is responsible for driving training excellence and talent development initiatives at Molex Hung Yen. This role partners closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify capability gaps, develop employees, and build a strong talent pipeline aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Training Needs Analysis & Planning

  • Identify organizational training and development needs through job analysis, performance reviews, and regular consultation with line managers.
  • Partner with HRBP and business leaders to develop annual talent maps and development plans.
  • Lead trainingrelated innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Program Design & Delivery


  • Design, develop, and implement training and development programs based on organizational and individual needs.
  • Develop customized training curricula and materials for inhouse programs.
  • Manage and oversee the delivery of training programs (internal, external, and elearning).
  • Supervise and support internal trainers/instructors.

Evaluation & Effectiveness


  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, including ROI analysis.
  • Continuously review and enhance programs to adapt to changes in business and work environment.
  • Ensure all statutory and mandatory training requirements are met.

Stakeholder Support


  • Provide consulting and coaching support to line managers and employees to address specific training or development issues (individual or group).
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally to ensure training solutions meet business expectations.

Systems, Budget & Compliance


  • Manage training budget and coordinate closely with Finance Business Partner.
  • Maintain training systems, documents, and records to ensure audit readiness.
  • Manage internal and external training resources.
  • Participate in required trainings and proactively report any Ethics & Compliance concerns or misconduct.

Scope


This role focuses on companywide Training & Development planning and execution.

The Training & Development Lead is expected to demonstrate strong analytical thinking, planning capability, and independent execution.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Preferred majors: Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or English

Experience


  • At least 4 years of HR experience, with minimum 3 years in Training & Development
  • Proven ability to manage the full training cycle independently
  • 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment of multinational companies

Skills & Competencies


  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written); TOEIC 700+ or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and think innovatively
  • Fast learner with a continuous improvement mindset
