Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to guide our development efforts across multiple projects in cybersecurity and IT systems. This role will lead engineering initiatives, ensure code quality, and help drive architectural decisions for new and existing products.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, security teams, and other engineers to build secure, reliable, and efficient software systems.

This is a 100% remote position that offers flexibility and ownership. You'll play a key role in developing our core SaaS applications, internal tools, and cybersecurity platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers across multiple projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, product, and design teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Ensure software quality, security, and performance across all environments.
• Contribute to process improvement and documentation.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively.

Primary Projects

You may contribute to several initiatives, typically focusing on one primary project at a time, such as:

• Cybersecurity SaaS Platform
• IT Systems Asset Management & Secrets Vault
• User Behavior Analytics (Machine Learning for Cybersecurity)
• Backend Tooling, Data Build Tools, and Automation Scripts

Core Technologies

While you don't need to be an expert in every technology listed, familiarity with our stack is highly valuable:

• Programming Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python
• Frameworks: Node.js, React.js, React Native, Next.js, Electron
• Databases: MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server
• DevOps / Cloud / Tools:

+ Microsoft Azure, Vercel, Docker, Prometheus

+ Tailwind CSS, Ubuntu Linux

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of modern web architecture and cloud-based systems.
• Solid English communication skills (both written and verbal).
• High attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining collaboration with cross-functional teams.

*Important: Candidates must have at least an intermediate level of English proficiency. Applicants assessed as low in English will not be considered.

Work Policy

• Remote: Work from anywhere.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (local time), with flexibility.
• Some fixed meetings required. Must be responsive during core hours.
• Maintain a secure work environment (avoid insecure Wi-Fi, cameras, or bystanders).

Compensation

• Salary: 50,000,000 - 65,000,000 VND/month, depending on experience and technical skill.
• Equity Options: Opportunity for equity participation for long-term contributors.
• Performance Bonus: Minimum one month's salary; additional bonuses for top performers.
