Job Overview
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Full-stack) to take ownership of the architecture, quality, and delivery of our front-end and back-end systems.
In this role, you will lead the development of React.js-based user interfaces and Node.js services serving both customers and internal teams, while upholding high engineering standards in a regulated fintech environment.
This position requires a strong balance of hands-on full-stack development, technical leadership, and product mindset, working closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own, design, and continuously evolve the full-stack architecture across Ringkas React.js front-end applications and Node.js back-end services
- Lead hands-on development of scalable, secure, and high-quality web products in a fintech context
- Translate complex fintech, regulatory, and compliance requirements into clear, reliable, and user-friendly product experiences
- Define, implement, and enforce engineering standards across front-end and back-end, ensuring high code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment and smooth delivery
- Mentor and guide engineers, fostering technical growth, ownership, and strong engineering culture
- Ensure performance, accessibility, reliability, and maintainability of production systems
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining Node.js back-end services
- Solid expertise in React.js and modern front-end development
- 4–5 years of full-stack development experience with React.js, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Proven ownership of full-stack architecture, including designing, scaling, and acting as a technical lead for complex, production-grade systems
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React.js, and Node.js, with a deep understanding of scalable application design
- Strong knowledge of state management, data-fetching patterns, and asynchronous workflows
- Hands-on experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services
- High attention to detail, data accuracy, edge cases, and overall product quality
- Ability to balance hands-on coding, technical leadership, and product thinking
Nice to Have
- Experience working in fintech, banking, or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data privacy
- Experience building or maintaining a design system at scale
- Knowledge of performance optimization, monitoring, and web analytics
