Lead/ Senior AI Engineer, Zalo Video

Zalo is seeking a highly skilled Lead AI Engineer to join our Short Video Recommendation team. You will lead the development of state-of-the-art recommendation systems that deliver personalized and engaging video content to millions of users. This role demands a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and large-scale system design.

What you will do:

Lead and mentor a team of AI Engineers and Data Scientists to build and optimize video recommendation algorithms.

Design, develop, and deploy large-scale recommendation systems using machine learning and deep learning techniques.

Conduct experiments and A/B tests to improve recommendation accuracy and user engagement.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and integrate relevant innovations into the system.

Analyze user behavior data to refine and enhance recommendation models continuously.

Ensure scalability and efficiency of AI solutions to handle large volumes of data and traffic.

What you will need:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science or related fields.

Proven experience in building and deploying recommendation systems at scale.

Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++ and familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).

Proficiency in data processing tools such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.

Experience with big data technologies and distributed systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Strong communication skills to articulate AI solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

Other requirements:

Experience in video content analysis and recommendation for video platforms.

Familiarity with knowledge graphs, embeddings, or graph-based neural networks.

Contributions to open-source projects or relevant publications in AI.
