JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Cloud Security & Compliance Engineer to join a fast-growing blockchain and digital asset platform based in Singapore. This role will focus on securing cloud infrastructure and applications within an Azure environment, ensuring compliance with international standards such as SOC 2 and MAS TRM, while supporting the secure operation of blockchain-based systems and digital asset services. You will play a critical role in strengthening security posture, enabling audit readiness, and building scalable, compliant infrastructure in a high-growth, regulated environment.
1. Cloud Security & Hardening
- Implement and maintain security controls across Azure cloud infrastructure
- Perform infrastructure and application hardening aligned with security best practices
- Secure blockchain-related services, APIs, and backend systems
- Manage identity and access controls (IAM), network security, and endpoint protection
2. Monitoring, Logging & Incident Response
- Configure and manage SIEM tools and centralised logging systems
- Monitor logs, alerts, and security events; investigate anomalies and incidents
- Build dashboards and alerting mechanisms for proactive threat detection
- Support incident response and post-incident analysis
3. Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Support SOC 2, MAS TRM, and internal audit requirements
- Collect, organise, and maintain audit evidence and documentation
- Implement and monitor internal controls across systems and processes
- Work closely with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance
4. Endpoint & Device Security
- Manage endpoint security using Microsoft Intune
- Enforce device compliance policies and secure configurations
- Monitor endpoint health and respond to security risks
5. Documentation & Process Improvement
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and runbooks
- Document system configurations, audit trails, and compliance controls
- Continuously improve security posture and operational processes
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or related roles.
- Proven experience in Azure cloud security, including Azure Security Center, Defender, IAM, and
- networking
- Strong hands-on experience with SIEM and log analysis tools (e.g., Sentinel, Splunk, ELK)
- Familiarity with security testing tools such as vulnerability scanning and basic penetration
- testing
- Experience working with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, MAS TRM, or equivalent)
- Strong documentation skills with experience supporting audit processes
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, regulated fintech or blockchain environment
- Good English communication
