What You'll Do- Perform manual testing across functional, regression, API, and database validation scenarios.
- Execute testing tasks assigned via Azure DevOps and track progress through the sprint board.
- Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios, rather than relying solely on predefined scripts.
- Validate system behavior by:
- Using existing regression packs
- Performing API testing using Postman
- Checking and inserting data in databases to trigger system flows where required
- Log and track defects directly within Azure DevOps, including attaching relevant evidence during test execution.
- Support UAT indirectly by:
- Handing over features to business users
- Reviewing UAT feedback
- Handling defects and rework identified after UAT
- Contribute to building and expanding regression coverage over time, particularly for new features in Greenfield projects.
Key Criteria
- At least 2+ year of experience in Manual Testing or any related role
- Hands-on experience in manual testing, including functional testing, regression testing, and API testing.
- Experience writing test cases and test plans, with the ability to design test scenarios independently.
- Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation, including checking data and inserting data where required to support testing.
- Experience working in an Agile environment using Azure DevOps for task tracking, test management, and defect logging.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks across different systems in parallel, with frequent context switching.
Work setup
- Ho Chi Minh City (Ree Tower, Xom Chieu Ward): Vietnam business hours (8 am – 5 pm). This role applied hybrid working setup with 1 day/week in the office (Thursday)
