About the Role
The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to users, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and services.
Responsibilities
- Support users with IT issues related to hardware, software, and network systems, including Windows OS, email, PC/laptop, and printers.
- Monitor and maintain the stable operation of the LAN system, Internet connection, and end-user devices.
- Set up and manage accounts for new users; work with users to install and support software and applications as required.
- Troubleshoot issues related to computers, laptops, and printers, and provide timely IT support to users.
- Manage and update documentation related to IT operations in accordance with company policies.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by managers.
Qualifications
- Education:
- University graduate with a major in IT or a related field.
- Experience: Having experience in IT systems (including deployment and management of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy) is preferred.
- Skills:
- English communication.
- Solid understanding of software, hardware, servers, and LAN/WAN environments.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V..
- Ability to configure and manage backup systems, monitoring tools, and IT asset management.
- Having knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewall, VLAN, VPN, etc.).
- CCNA/MD-102/AZ-104 or equivalent networking certification is an advantage.
