Job Description

KEY FUNCTIONS:

Technical Support

  • Provide first-level technical support, resolve issues related to IT systems, software, and hardware.
  • Respond to service requests and incidents, diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.

System and Equipment Management

  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, ensure proper setup and functioning of computers, printers, and network devices.
  • Assist with user account management, set up new accounts and manage access permissions.

Maintenance and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions, use the IT service management system for documentation.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and updates, ensure optimal performance of IT systems.

Project Support and Training

  • Assist in the implementation and support of IT projects, follow directions from the IT Manager.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees, help users understand IT systems and software usage.

Inventory and Compliance

  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment, ensure proper documentation and tracking.
  • Follow IT policies and procedures, ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, software, and hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common IT software applications.
  • Experience with IT service management systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to participate in on-call support rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
