Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and select IT vendors/suppliers based on business requirements.
- Obtain quotations and proposals from vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Assess vendor qualifications, capabilities, and services to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors, including pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and service levels.
- Process Purchase Orders (POs) and Contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Follow up on orders, monitor shipment schedules, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage and resolve any issues or risks arising during procurement or delivery.
- Control and monitor expenses to ensure compliance with approved budgets.
- Support the Procurement Director in developing annual procurement plans, sourcing strategies, and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and update the procurement database and supplier records.
- Conduct regular market research to stay updated on IT market trends, pricing, and alternative sources.
- Prepare cost-saving reports and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments (IT, Finance, Legal) and key stakeholders to ensure alignment of procurement activities.
- Handle other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Procurement Director.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- Good command of English in both speaking and writing.
Experience & Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement, with a minimum of 3 years specializing in IT procurement.
- Strong understanding of IT products and services, including hardware, software, licensing, and IT-related services.
- Proven track record in vendor sourcing, negotiation, and performance management.
- Solid knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.
- Hands-on experience using SAP for procurement transactions is required.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk management abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
