Role Overview
Lead and execute
IT and cybersecurity audits across Binances APAC operations. Youll assess risks, improve internal controls, ensure compliance, and support automation in a rapidly evolving tech and regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify key technology and data risks at both global and regional levels
- Develop and maintain the annual IT audit plan for APAC
- Plan and execute audits focusing on IT governance, cybersecurity, cloud, and systems architecture
- Serve as an SME for cyber risk and IT audit practices across the organization
- Work cross-functionally with IT, engineering, security, and compliance teams
- Draft and present audit reports, and follow up on corrective actions
- Use Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Build strong stakeholder relationships with IT leadership and provide advisory support
- Stay updated on new risks, regulatory changes, and audit best practices
- Drive automation and data-driven auditing techniques
Requirements
- 5+ years in technology audit, preferably in financial services or fintech
- Strong Python skills (e.g., pandas, numpy, scripting for automation)
- Strong SQL skills for complex queries and analysis
- Deep understanding of IT risk, governance, cybersecurity, and system architecture
- Experience with risk frameworks: ISO27001, NIST, COBIT, COSO, SOC2, PCI-DSS
- Experience in digital forensics, investigations, or payment platforms is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong communication skills; able to collaborate with senior stakeholders (CISO, CTO, engineers)
- Relevant certifications are preferred: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, AWS/GCP certs
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field is a plus
