Job Description

MISSION OF THIS ROLE

The Human Resources Intern plays a supporting role in Schneider Electric's HR operations, with exposure to HR processes and employee engagement. This role contributes to building a high-performing, people-centered workplace by ensuring smooth HR operations and supporting internal communication and engagement programs/events. You will gain handson HR experience in a global company, working closely with Senior HRBP cum L&D Lead,Talent Acquisition and cross-functional teams.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. Employee Engagement & Internal Events

  • Support planning and execution of internal events: Town hall, trainings, teambuilding, engagement activities, and celebration events.
  • Create and prepare internal communication content: emails, posters, visuals, and short announcements.
  • Promote HR initiatives through creative and consistent communication.
  • Assist in driving smooth events by supporting onsite activities and operational needs.

2. HR Operations

  • Support the Senior HRBP cum L&D Lead and the HR Director in projects such as employee survey follow-up, process improvements, welfare initiatives, and training coordination.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, dashboards, and documentation for HR programs.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Final-year student or recent graduate in Business, Human Resources, Communications, English, or related fields.

Working Experience: Having experience in HR operations, events, or student activities is a strong plus.

Business Understanding: General understanding of HR Management or Business Management.

Others (skills & competencies):

  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail; strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good English (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Design skills (Canva, Photoshop) are a plus but not required.
  • Able to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Open to learning and continuous improvement.
