JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Tech and Game Art divisions at Puzzlgams.
This role is execution-focused, working closely with Business Units to operate, optimize, and continuously improve people systems, while acting as an advisor to leaders in daily HR matters.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and capable of handling complex employee-related situations in a fast-moving, project-based environment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
HR Operations & Execution
- Act as the primary HR contact for assigned Tech and Game Art Business Units.
- Execute and operate key HR programs including OKRs, KPIs, and Performance Assessment cycles for the BU.
- Ensure HR policies, processes, and guidelines are consistently applied and followed.
Employee Relations & Conflict Management
- Handle employee relations cases, conflicts, and disciplinary matters with a fair, compliant, and business-oriented approach.
- Advise BU leaders on sensitive people issues, risks, and resolution strategies.
- Support investigations related to financial discipline, vendor-related issues, or policy violations when required.
Talent Development & Organization Development
- Partner with Talent Development / Training teams to identify capability gaps and propose appropriate development programs.
- Support succession planning by identifying high-potential talents and defining successor profiles and development plans.
- Optimize existing people systems and frameworks to better fit the business reality.
Workforce Planning & Hiring Demand Verification
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to review and validate hiring demands from BUs.
- Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, while gradually building HRBP influence in decision-making.
Data & Reporting
- Analyze HR data (performance, attrition, engagement, workforce trends) to:
Produce regular HR reports.
Support people-related decisions and recommendations for BU leaders.
- Use data to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Communication & Ad-hoc Support
- Support internal communication initiatives to educate employees on company domain, policies, and culture.
- Be willing to handle urgent or ad-hoc HR matters outside standard working hours when necessary.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- 68 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in HRBP or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in HR operations, employee relations, and performance management.
- Experience working with Tech, Engineering, or Game Art teams is required.
- Practical understanding of OKRs, KPIs, and performance frameworks.
- Strong data mindset with the ability to use HR data for both reporting and decision support.
- High level of ownership, discretion, and ability to work in complex, evolving environments.
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Experience with HR systems is a plus.
