  • Provide daily guidance and direction in HSE programs at the employee/supervisor level to ensure a common and effective approach.
  • Provide support to the project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety, and environmental issues.
  • Practice safe working techniques and enforce the safety policies, guidelines, and procedures as set out as requirements.
  • Provide, maintain and update as needed SOPs for all safe work practices, equipment, and utilize them in day to day training.
  • Oversee all HSE related training and develop new programs as necessary.
  • Assist with maintaining the site preparedness and Emergency planning and procedures.
  • Assist to identify risk, assessment, and have an appropriate control/corrective action.
  • Conduct or participate in investigations of safety incidents, near misses. Facilitate initial reports and initiate investigations to determine root cause of safety incidents.
  • Maintain working relations with regulatory bodies and Handling regulatory bodies in HSE aspects.
  • Develop management and audit plans to ensure all procedures are implemented and executed properly.
  • Create and maintain reports on safety performance and initiatives.
  • Assist the HSE manager with accomplishing various tasks related to safety and health, including routine inspections and participating in and overseeing safety information documentation to facilitate operations and/or safety and health projects.
  • Assist/lead initiatives for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and internal policies, procedures and standards.
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned by HSE Manager

Requirements

Must have:

  • Manufacturing or Logistic (Warehouse) experience and at least 4-5 years recent and relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience of writing and implementing Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of emergency preparedness, Fire Safety Management/Risk assessment.
  • Graduated from college/university major in Technical, HSE or related fields

Nice To Have

  • Experience in both Construction & Manufacturing
  • Able to lead a small but remote team and advise on all Health and Safety matters, to all roles within the business.
  • Knowledgeable in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, 5S, Kaizen, standards and HSE.
  • Ability to read, understand and capture technical drawings
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
