This role will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of a global vehicle technical regulations roadmap. This position is responsible for monitoring changes in market regulations, ensuring compliance with homologation requirements, and supporting cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Vehicle Development. The role requires the development of a legal database for target markets, managing the impact of regulatory changes, and ensuring the company's products comply with global regulatory standards throughout the vehicle development lifecycle

Requirements

  • Leads coordinated activities between the Regulatory, Certification and Compliance Reporting Subject Matter Experts within the all-stake Holders to identify beneficial regulatory compliance options and credit opportunities.
  • Participate in reviews for any Design changes in existing product to ensure that compliance with regulatory requirements for specific country.
  • Provides regulatory impact analysis for particular model/market
  • Read and understand the regulations/laws of different countries; Timely update of newly promulgated regulations and put into practice related homologation work/Technical regulation change monitoring (information collection, analyzing, impact study, report)
  • Work as an active member of the Engineering team, ensure effective communication between colleagues and positive contribute to meetings and briefings.
  • Support Vehicle Development team in compliance design and vehicle development phase in order to comply with markets homologation regulations. Work with vehicle program teams to provide regulatory guidance and where necessary address issues
  • Support Admin tasks within the department
  • Create budget proposals for the purpose of: regulatory information, access to local market requirement, participation in advocacy groups

Benefits

  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project mângement, or related roles, with a proven track record of success in similar positions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software tools.
  • Proficiency in English language
