*Working location: Phu My 3 Specialized Industrial Zone, Tan Phuoc Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (Old address: Phu My, Ba Ria - Vung Tau)

The company has three shuttle bus routes: Long Thanh, Ngai Giao, and Vung Tau

* Working time: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, from Monday to Friday

* Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures related to Safety, Health, and Environment in alignment with the goals and conditions of the company/group, and current legal regulations.
  • Manage HSE risks inherent in business processes and practices.
  • Monitor stakeholders compliance with HSE procedures and regulations.
  • Establish internal and external HSE training programs and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to organize the established training programs.
  • Monitor the management of strictly regulated equipment, safety devices, and Group 2 measuring instruments of relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage contractors within the company in accordance with safety requirements, social responsibility standards, and related sustainability requirements.
  • Manage and supervise stakeholders in handling fire prevention and firefighting equipment, rescue and emergency response tools, as well as maintaining response teams and related documentation.
  • Manage chemical safety for departments and contractors when working at the company.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to investigate and address unsafe conditions and incidents if they occur.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain emergency response teams.
  • Oversee stakeholders compliance in managing wastewater, emissions, and Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS).
  • Manage all types of waste from generation to final disposal.
  • Collect and store records and data to serve internal reporting, corporate reporting, and reports to competent authorities as required by regulations.
  • Update compliance requirements legislation, exchange information to departments and periodically assess compliance.
  • Implement and maintain social responsibility and sustainability standards
  • Coordinate and work with relevant parties to address HSE-related requests from customers, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Offer suggestions, ideas, and initiatives to improve the jobs.
  • Other tasks assigned by superiors.

* Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering (Labor Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, chemical, or other related fields)
  • At least 35 years of experience as an HSE Supervisor in a manufacturing plant, preferably within the same industry
  • Knowledge of Health Safety and Environment regulations, standards
  • Knowledge of greenhouse gas management, energy management, and HSE certifications is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of one of social responsibility and sustainability standards such as SMETA, RA-4C, SA8000, BSCI, WRAP, etc. is an advantage.
  • Risk identification and assessment
  • Evaluate, analyze, investigate, and report incidents
  • Good at training, communication and, problem solving
  • Be able to read and understand P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) and PFD (Process Flow Diagram) drawings is an advantage
  • English: Good command in both written and spoken communication.
