Job Description

TA Recruitment

  • Work with the Centre manager to forecast TA staffing needs.
  • Facilitate inductions for new TAs.

TA Performance Management

  • Oversee TA performance through regular assessments and appraisals.
  • Supervise TA attendance, overtime, and annual leave.
  • Assist with disciplinary processes as needed.
  • Hold TA meetings
  • Manage contracts, including the exit process.
  • Reward & recognition
  • Cover absent TAs when required.

Training And Development

  • Recommend and deliver training courses and workshops.
  • Create and implement TA development plans.

Teaching And Learning

  • Observe TA classroom performance, provide feedback, and promote

development.

  • Ensure teaching standards are met as per the TA Handbook.
  • Assist TAs in maximizing student outcomes.
  • Mentor TAs and share best teaching practices.
  • Ensure constructive feedback for TAs and students.

Customer Care

  • Respond to customer feedback and complaints.
  • Support social activities for TAs and students.
  • Assist with centers events, on-site and off-site.
  • Monitor class pass/fail rates and re-enrollment statistics.
  • Submit reports and maintain up-to-date TA administrative records.

Pastoral Responsibilities

  • Ensure the welfare of TAs and students.
  • Support TAs in maintaining a professional learning environment.
  • Adhere to the TA Handbook and relevant documentation.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Student outcomes
  • Customer satisfaction.

  • University degree in a field conducted in English.
  • Teaching English certificate (120 hours or more).
  • Native-level English proficiency (IELTS 7.0 or higher).
  • At least 2 years of teaching or TA experience (exceptions can be made by the

hiring manager).

  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Effective TA management and fostering collaboration.
  • Time management and organizational abilities.
  • Understanding of effective teaching and student support practices.
  • Expertise in classroom management.
  • Initiative, flexibility, and autonomy.
  • Proficiency in Google/ Microsoft Suite and other educational apps.
