Our client is a leading company in the banking and financial services industry, seeking an experienced professional to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business strategies for FX and transaction banking products by customer segment and assigned region to expand market coverage and market share.
- Translate strategic objectives into detailed business plans with clear action programs and measurable targets.
- Build partnerships with external organizations to generate client leads and business opportunities.
- Monitor business performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and adjust action plans in line with market conditions and management direction.
- Plan and implement sales activities in close coordination with corporate, commercial, and retail banking units.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to propose appropriate financial solutions while ensuring compliance with internal regulations.
- Provide advisory on FX and transaction banking products and market movements to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Recommend sales promotion programs and improvements in products and systems with a focus on digitalization and operational excellence.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal divisions and external clients through seminars, product presentations, and joint initiatives.
- Collaborate with related departments to develop new financial market and transaction banking products.
- Collect and analyze information on potential clients and market opportunities to drive sales growth.
- Monitor profit and loss by product and customer segment and manage the business portfolio effectively.
- Prepare regular reports on sales pipeline and market developments.
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to meet challenging business targets and build a high performance culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or higher in Finance, Banking, Economics, or related disciplines.
- Minimum six years of experience in treasury or foreign exchange business within reputable financial institutions.
- At least five years of experience in transaction banking products including trade finance and cash management.
- Minimum three years of experience in a managerial position with proven team leadership capability.
- Solid understanding of regulations and practices related to foreign exchange and transaction banking.
- Strong strategic thinking, sales orientation, negotiation, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and provide advisory solutions to corporate clients.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good command of English in both written and spoken communication.
- Professional certifications in FX, derivatives, trade finance, or related fields are an advantage.
