Job Description

Purpose and Scope:

Responsible for overseeing all finance and accounting activities of the companies within ITL Freight Management (member of ITL Corporation), ensuring transparency, regulatory compliance, financial effectiveness, and providing strategic financial support to Management in driving sustainable growth and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with tax, accounting and relevant legal regulations, minimizing compliance risks and penalties.
  • Ensure the accuracy (true and fair) and timeliness of statutory financial statements and internal management reports.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking process against approved plans.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital, ensuring financial stability, solvency and compliance with relevant financial covenants.
  • Provide financial analysis and advisory to support Management in operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in the financial evaluation of investment, expansion, M&A and restructuring initiatives; lead or support post-M&A financial integration, including accounting policy harmonization, financial consolidation, financial controls and post-deal performance tracking against the original business case.
  • Internal customers: Partner effectively with cross-functional teams, providing timely, consistent and value-added financial support to enable operations and decision-making.
  • External customers: Ensure customer satisfaction in all financial interactions (pricing, contracts, invoicing, collections and receivables) through transparent, accurate and timely processes.
  • Establish, standardize and maintain an effective, transparent and consistent finance and accounting governance framework across the Group.
  • Initiate and lead finance digitalization and process automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and data quality.
  • Define and monitor finance-related operational KPIs to support performance control and informed decision-making.
  • Build and develop a strong, professional Finance & Accounting team capable of partnering with the business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Auditing or related fields.
  • 1015 years of experience in finance/ accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior management role in logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain.
  • Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; experience with Bravo systems is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation and regulatory compliance.
  • Professional qualifications preferred, such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Proven experience managing large teams (20+ staff) across multiple locations, including hands-on experience in Southeast Asian markets such as Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia.
