POSITION OVERVIEW – A Head of Business Development works to improve an organization's market position and achieve financial growth. This person defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates, and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Head of Business Development work in a senior sales position within the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Existing clients:
Help manage existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive.
Work closely with marketing, PR, research, and internal communication colleagues in all offices to provide an effective business development function.
Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering, and exploring opportunities.
Contact clients, often being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict their clients future needs.
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Ensure all company collaterals such as capability statements and proposal templates are updated.
Work with the marketing team to promote company wins both internally and externally.
Ensure that all documents relating to the business development are prepared and managed in accordance with company policies & procedures. Liaise with clients to obtain all necessary documentation to provide proposals.
Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
New clients:
Find potential new customers, present, and ultimately convert them into clients, and continue to grow business in the future.
Work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for their organization.
Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners needs and goals.
Attends networking events, business functions and otherwise seeks to generate new business leads wherever possible.
Actively produces and conducts Introduction Presentations for Savills to maximize number of clients.
Always ensures a message of best in class is nurtured for Savills services in the Vietnam real estate market.
CRM System:
Maintain and develop new business with target customer prospects.
Utilize the CRM software to approach and present the clients.
Work and train on the CRM software to catch all the opportunities under shared system and managed Savills clients in HCMC.
Organize and record all projects, including target projects.
Ensure all departments receive updates on agency appointments (accounts, management, tenant rep, research, valuation etc.).
Create client email list and coordinate information flow to the market (sending information to all database, media on new project appointments, market research brief, leasing information etc.).
Manage all project related information and ensure it is captured in central database.
Coordinate client's requirements to all departments for proposals
Work with Head of Department to ensure all future projects are recorded and details collected.
Actively seek new solutions and creating new opportunities maintain a file system for the completed reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Strong understanding of Real Estate Market.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communication or Business
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, for liaising with colleagues, customers.
Communication skills:
Work closely with leadership and cross functional members of management team to drive and implement corporate strategy and long-range projects.
PC skills:
The ability to work with IT resources such as databases and spreadsheets, for the collection and management of information.
Experience:
At least 7 years industry experience with a solid understanding of the Sales and Marketing of property covering residential, retail, and other related projects.
Must have 7-10 years of experience in administration and business development.
Strong understanding of real estate, property, and economic principles
Language: Proficient English (both speaking and writing).
