Key Responsibilities
1. Balance Sheet & NIM Management
- Lead active balance sheet management, optimizing asset–liability mix in line with market conditions and business strategy
- Drive NIM optimization through disciplined deposit pricing, loan repricing, and excess liquidity deployment
- Reshape the Bank's funding profile to be NSFR-friendly, stable, and less sensitive to interest rate volatility
- Rebalance asset growth towards trade finance and strategic long-term lending
2. Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) Ownership
- Own and continuously enhance the FTP framework, including Liquidity Premium (LP), Liquidity Charge (LC), reserve cost, and base rate adjustments
- Ensure FTP methodologies reflect market movements, funding costs, and balance sheet direction
- Provide pricing and FTP advisory to business segments for new products, strategic initiatives, and incentive structures
- Safeguard pricing discipline to prevent underpricing of assets versus long-term funding costs
3. ALCO & Stakeholder Management
- Prepare and lead discussions at ALCO, providing clear insights and strategic recommendations to senior management
- Work closely with Business, Finance, and Risk to balance growth, profitability, and prudential limits
- Proactively assess balance sheet impacts under different rate and liquidity scenarios
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, or related fields (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Treasury, ALM, Balance Sheet Management, or FTP
- Strong practical knowledge of:
- Balance sheet optimization
- FTP methodologies
- Deposit pricing & loan repricing
- NSFR / liquidity-related metrics
- Proven experience engaging with ALCO and senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills
- Excellent MIS and reporting capabilities; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
