Develop and lead the Group AI & Analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities across Retail, FMCG, Financial Services, and Digital Transformation initiatives.
Translate complex business challenges into impactful data science initiatives, partnering with senior stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-value use cases such as customer personalization, demand forecasting, pricing optimization, risk management, and operational efficiency.
Oversee the end-to-end development of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions from problem framing, data exploration, and model development to deployment (batch or real-time) in collaboration with data engineering and product teams.
Design and implement scalable AI/ML models including recommendation engines, time series forecasting, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and generative AI, with a focus on delivering measurable business impact.
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing AI & Analytics team, comprising data scientists, ML engineers, analysts, and data strategists. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Establish strong cross-functional partnerships with internal teams (Retail, Technology, Digital, Finance) and external partners to drive adoption and integration of AI-driven solutions across the organization.
Champion data governance and ethical AI practices, ensuring compliance with data privacy, security standards, and responsible AI principles.
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologiesincluding Generative AI, real-time analytics platforms, and large-scale machine learning frameworksto continuously enhance Companys AI capabilities and innovation potential.
Define, track, and report key AI & Analytics KPIs to executive leadership, delivering insights and strategic recommendations to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Stay at the forefront of industry trends and advancements in AI, data science, and machine learning, proactively applying best practices to elevate the Group&aposs analytics maturity and competitive advantage.
Requirements:
More than 10 years of experience in data science, analytics, and AI, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles overseeing multidisciplinary teams within large-scale, complex organizations.
Proven track record of leading AI and advanced analytics initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomespreferably within Retail, FMCG, Financial Services, or diversified conglomerates.
Strong technical expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning, and deploying models at scale across both cloud and on-premise environments.
Hands-on experience with the full data science lifecycleincluding exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, model development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous performance optimization.
Excellent business acumen and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence executive-level decision-making.
Experience in budget ownership, vendor evaluation, and implementation of enterprise AI/analytics platforms is a strong plus.
