We are seeking a strategic and curious individual to join our Strategic Market Insight (SMI) team. This role is at the intersection of insight generation, strategic thinking, and execution ideal for someone who thrives on uncovering signals in the market, making sense of buyer behavior, and shaping impactful recommendations.
This Role Will
- Turn Market Signals into Insights: Identify and interpret trends in buyer behavior, market shifts, and competitor moves using both structured research and data analysis as inputs.
- Translate Insights into recommended actions : Build compelling storylines and recommendations that influence how Shopee positions itself in the e-commerce landscape.
- Enable Cross-Functional Decisions: Work with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure insight-driven thinking is embedded in key business choices.
Requirements
- Ability to generate insights from multiple sources (data, research, and market intelligence).
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills able to turn insights into persuasive recommendations.
- Self-driven and proactive.
- Familiarity with market research methods, competitive analysis, or consumer insight tools.
- Experience in e-commerce, digital platforms, or other fast-moving industries.
