1. Role Purpose
To architect and lead the financial reporting, tax compliance, and treasury operations for the entire AIG Group. This role ensures that the complex flow of materials and capital between manufacturing units, commercial units and the holding entity is transparent, compliant, and optimized for maximum shareholder value.
2. Key Responsibilities
Centralized Accounting Operations, Automation & Leadership
- Centralization strategy: direct the accounting shared services to process all transactional (AP, AR, Assets) for the 10+ entities, ensuring consistent application of policies.
- Unified governance: establish a group-wide chart of accounts (COA) and standard operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure data standards
- Efficiency benchmarking: implement KPIs for the accounting function, targeting a hard close of consolidated financials by day 5–7 of the following month.
- ERP & RPA Integration: act as the technical-functional lead for the Group's ERP and the integration of RPA/ AI agents to automate repetitive tasks like invoice posting and tax reconciliations.
Group Consolidation & Financial Reporting (Holding Focus)
- Multi-entity consolidation: mastermind the monthly and quarterly consolidation of 10+ P&Ls and balance sheets, ensuring accurate elimination of intercompany sales, profits, and investments.
- Dual-standard compliance: lead the reporting transition from circular 200/99 (VAS) to IFRS, ensuring the Group's financial narrative is listing-ready for international investors.
- HOSE listing stewardship: drive the preparation of audited financial prospectuses and maintain strict corporate governance standards required for a public listing.
Manufacturing & Trading Operations
- Costing & inventory: implement unified standard costing methods across manufacturing plants to ensure accurate GP analysis.
- Trading controls: oversee revenue recognition and credit risk management for high-volume trading entities dealing with international and local FMCG clients.
- ERP integration: serve as the functional lead for accounting/finance in the Group's ERP to ensure real-time visibility into sales, purchase, production and supply chain costs.
- Establish balance sheet review monthly/quarterly basis to ensure risk awareness and accounting standards are adhered.
- Ensure inventory and fixed asset controls are established properly
Tax Planning & Compliance
- Group tax strategy: manage the Group's effective tax rate through legal optimization of incentives (especially for manufacturing units in industrial zones).
- Transfer pricing: ensure all intercompany transactions between the holding company and subsidiaries are documented and compliant with Vietnamese transfer pricing regulations.
- Tax inspection leadership: lead the defense during tax audits across all 10 entities, minimizing exposure and ensuring timely VAT refunds for export-heavy units.
Treasury & Cash Management
- Centralized treasury: optimize the Group's Cash Pool, managing liquidity between cash-rich trading arms and capital-intensive manufacturing projects.
- Banking & debt: manage relationships with tier-1 banks to secure working capital lines and project financing at competitive rates.
- FX risk management: develop hedging strategies to protect the group against currency volatility, given its high volume of imported raw materials and export sales.
3. Required Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree in Accounting, Finance
- Professional certification: Vietnamese Chief Accountant Certificate (required); ACCA, CPA
- Experience: 15+ years in finance/accounting, with at least 5 years at the Group level for a corporation with revenue 10,000 billion VND.
- Industry knowledge: prior experience in a manufacturing-trading hybrid environment is essential.
