Responsibilities
Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, the Country General Manager (Vietnam) will be responsible for leading and growing the overall business in Vietnam, with full ownership of commercial strategy, operations, and financial performance. This includes setting and executing the go-to-market strategy, driving revenue growth and profitability, and overseeing sales across both direct and distributor channels.
The role also involves building and leading a high-performing local team (60 – 70 headcount), managing key stakeholder relationships (including customers, partners, and regulatory bodies), and ensuring strong compliance with local regulations and corporate standards. Additionally, the Country Director will guide pricing, market access, and distributor strategies, while driving forecasting, financial planning, and long-term business initiatives to support sustainable growth
Requirements
The ideal candidate is someone with at least 15 years of commercial leadership experience in Medical Devices industry, with strong product knowledge in Renal Care / Dialysis / Medical Consumables. You will need to have proven track record in senior leadership roles with full P&L ownership. This is a general management role with direct responsibilities across all functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Regulatory.
