General Manager is the top executive of the manufacturing unit, responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, engineering, operations, quality, safety, and business development activities at the factory. This role ensures effective execution of production plans aligned with the Production Center's strategy and the sustainable growth direction of the FMCG sector. This role is expected to lead comprehensive factory management, optimize resources, control costs, ensure product quality, occupational safety, environmental and energy compliance, and drive digital transformation. Additionally, this position plays a key role in developing talent pipelines, cultivating a cohesive corporate culture, and enhancing competitiveness in the beverage industry.
A. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Operations & Production
- Ensure efficient, on-time, high-quality, and safety-compliant production operations at the factory.
- Plan and coordinate the entire production value chain from raw material input to finished goods output.
- Set up monitoring systems for shift and line productivity to optimize equipment and labor efficiency.
2.Financial & Cost Management
- Manage factory budgets, control production costs, and propose initiatives to optimize resource efficiency.
- Coordinate with the Financial Planning Department to monitor, report, and analyze financial performance regularly.
- Ensure transparency, compliance, and efficiency in the use of financial resources at the factory.
3. People Management & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop factory managers and operational staff.
- Foster a positive working environment aligned with corporate culture, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
- Develop succession plans and coordinate appropriate training programs for factory workforce.
4. Quality & Safety Management
- Ensure product compliance with internal and customer quality standards; maintain relevant quality certifications.
- Oversee the implementation of policies and measures related to labor safety, fire protection, and environmental compliance
- Analyze root causes of quality defects and incidents to develop sustainable preventive solutions.
5. Governance & Reporting
- Establish and maintain governance systems and internal processes in line with ProC standards.
- Prepare periodic reports on production, finance, HR, quality, and operational KPIs to BOD.
- Collaborate with ProC functional departments to standardize data and support transparent and effective decision-making.
6. Coordination & Stakeholder Relations
- Closely collaborate with other Factory Directors to ensure unified operations under ProC's direction.
- Represent the Company in dealings with authorities, partners, and customers as required.
- Participate in building and implementing CSR programs in the local area where the factory operates.
7. Other tasks as assigned by upper management.
E. QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Industrial Management, Mechanical, Chemical, Food Technology, or related fields.
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, ISO are preferred.
- Profiency English skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing, including at least 5 years as Factory Director or equivalent leadership role in a large-scale factory. Preferred experience food, FMCG industries or continuous production environments.
- Systems thinking in managing the end-to-end production chain from input materials to finished goods.
- Strong ability to analyze operational data and make data-driven decisions.
- Continuous improvement mindset to enhance productivity, quality, and reduce waste.
- Solid understanding of ESG and ability to embed environmental, social, and governance standards in operations.
- Capability to manage multi-shift, multi-line operations with diverse workforce profiles.
- Strong grasp of risk management principles in factory operations (quality, safety, assets, workforce).
- Ability to build strategic relationships with internal departments, suppliers, and local authorities.
- Leadership in driving digital transformation at factory level (MES, automation, traceability).
- Long-term thinking in asset management and sustaining production capacity.
- Ability to operate and resolve issues in high-pressure manufacturing environments.
