Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent, detail-oriented, and proactive Accountant to join the finance team at the factory. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with country regulations and corporate policies.
The position plays a key role in supporting financial performance and operational efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Report to: Finance Manager & Head of Group Finance
Working time: Hybrid | Mon to Fri | 40 hour/week
Location: Factory – KCN Vĩnh Lộc 2, Bến Lức, Long An (shuttle bus provide)
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Financial Operations
- Handle full set of accounting duties for the factory
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) accurately and timely
- Perform daily accounting entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
- Manage cash flow, prepare payment requests, and monitor petty cash
2. Financial Reporting & Month-End Closing
- Prepare and post month-end closing entries (accruals, prepayments, depreciation)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and Group reporting
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data accuracy
3. Cost Accounting & Analysis
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs (materials, labor, overhead)
- Support cost accounting activities, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
- Provide financial insights to support operational decisions and cost control
4. Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with country Accounting Standards (VAS), tax regulations, and company policies
- Prepare and submit statutory reports (VAT, CIT, PIT) on time
- Support internal and external audits; prepare required documentation and schedules
5. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support the Finance Manager in annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Track actual performance vs. budget and analyze variances
6. Systems & Process Improvement
- Utilize ERP systems effectively for accounting and reporting
- Participate in process improvements and strengthen internal controls
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, strong background in manufacturing
- Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing industries is highly preferred
- Solid knowledge of VAS, tax regulations, and statutory reporting
- Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems, Epicor is a plus
- Good command of English (spoken and written); Mandarin is a plus
- High accuracy, integrity, dynamic, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
