Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented General Accountant to manage financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounting operations in alignment with corporate policies and local statutory requirements. The role requires strong technical expertise, integrity, and the ability to work effectively in a structured, compliance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and take full responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and corporate guidelines.
- Report directly to the Chief Accountant and provide accurate financial data to support Management decision-making.
- Review, verify, and ensure proper filing and archiving of input and output invoices in compliance with statutory regulations.
- Reconcile purchase and sales invoice listings with general ledger accounts; ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly VAT returns.
- Manage tax declarations, tax refunds, and legal procedures related to company dissolution (if applicable).
- Lead annual tax finalization and act as the key contact point for tax authorities during audits and inspections.
- Ensure strict compliance with current tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal control procedures.
- Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions when required.
- Perform additional duties and prepare reports as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of solid experience in General Accounting or similar roles within a corporate environment.
- Proven experience in preparing full sets of financial statements.
- Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
- CPA certification is highly regarded.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
