INDUSTRY OVERVIEW
The Expert Network Services (ENS) industry connects our clients (consulting and investment firms) with specialized insights from top experts. With a strong focus on the Asia-Pacific region, our team is fluent in the languages and across the area and has unmatched recruitment capabilities to find experts from any industry or niche.
ROLE OVERVIEW
You will take ownership of an existing B2B SaaS product and lead ongoing development after a short transition period with the founding engineer.
Your focus:
- Building new features.
- Improving system quality.
- Scaling the architecture.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy ownership, modern tech stacks, and AI-augmented development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and improve features using Next.js 16 + Supabase.
- Actively use AI coding agents (Claude Code, etc.) in daily development.
- Handle bug fixes and user-driven improvements.
- Design and manage database schemas and migrations.
- Follow a 4-layer clean architecture.
- Write and maintain unit tests (Vitest).
- Monitor and respond to issues using Sentry.
Other responsibilities:
- Participate in product discussions and requirement alignment.
- Maintain technical documentation (CLAUDE.md, design docs).
- Contribute to multi-agent development workflows.
- Ensure code quality via self-review and PR practices.
REQUIREMENTS
AI-Driven Development
- Experience using AI tools (Copilot, Cursor, Codex, Claude, etc.) in real projects.
- Ability to guide AI effectively and refine outputs.
- Strong willingness to adapt to new development paradigms.
Technical Skills
- 2+ years with Next.js (App Router).
- Strong TypeScript experience.
- Solid understanding of React (Server vs Client Components).
- Experience with PostgreSQL (Supabase preferred), including RLS.
- Experience with Git-based team development.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Experience in startups or launching products from the ground up.
- Enjoy with:
- Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Radix UI
- Zod validation
- Vitest (TDD)
- Sentry monitoring
