Android Developer (Navigation SDK & App)
- Onsite: D7, HCM or Hoa Cuong, Da Nang.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Participate in the development of Map4D Navigation SDK on the Android platform.
- Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin/Java.
- Build map and navigation-related features, including: map rendering and visualization, location search, route guidance, real-time location tracking, route calculation, dynamic re-routing, and turn-by-turn navigation.
- Design, develop, and maintain SDK APIs to enable easy integration for external applications.
- Work with Map4D frameworks and APIs.
- Optimize application and SDK performance in terms of: battery consumption, memory usage, map rendering performance, and real-time location updates.
- Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, continuously improve the codebase, and ensure backward compatibility.
- Produce technical documentation and develop sample/demo applications to support SDK integration and usage.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2 years of experience in Android development using Kotlin or Java.
- Hands-on experience with RxJava/RxAndroid in production projects.
- Good understanding of Android Location APIs, GPS, and location data handling.
- Good understanding of Android application lifecycle, performance optimization, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience working with APIs, including RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Strong understanding of common architecture patterns such as MVC, MVP, and MVVM.
- Experience using Git in software development workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with map SDKs such as Map4D SDK, Google Maps SDK, or Mapbox.
- Experience developing Android SDKs or libraries.
- Experience working on map-based or navigation-related products.
- Experience in performance optimization or real-time system development.
- Familiarity with Jetpack components, Coroutines, or Flow.
