About the Role
We're looking for a talented and passionate Front-End Engineer to join our team and help us build a seamless freight experience for our customers. You'll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA to design and deliver elegant, high-performing web products.
What You'll Do
- Partner cross-functionally with PM, Design, Backend, and QA to build smooth, delightful customer experiences end-to-end.
- Lead the design and evolution of front-end architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Translate complex business requirements into clean, user-friendly UI solutions with strong attention to detail.
- Propose, evaluate, and implement technical solutions to ambiguous or high-impact product challenges.
- Improve engineering quality through best practices, code reviews, testing, and performance optimization.
- Stay curious about emerging technologies, especially LLMs and AI-agent frameworks, and explore practical ways to apply them to our products and workflows.
- Mentor and support other engineers, fostering a culture of learning, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, with ownership of production-grade web applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS, with a deep understanding of browser fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Vue.js (Vue 2 or Vue 3) and solid knowledge of MVC/MVVM architecture patterns.
- Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework: Vue or React.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs; GraphQL experience is a plus.
- Strong engineering discipline: Git, build tooling (Webpack/Vite), modular code practices, and maintainability standards.
- Clear understanding of boundaries between front-end and back-end systems; able to collaborate effectively on API design.
- Strong product sense and UX intuition you care about building software that users love.
- Experience designing reusable components and front-end architecture, preferably in large-scale projects.
- A balance of technical excellence and creativity, with high standards for quality and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with AWS and Amplify is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance optimization (bundle size, rendering, caching, monitoring).
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
- Prior experience in logistics, SaaS, or complex B2B platforms.
