  • GENERAL MISSION

The receptionist reports directly to the Front Desk Supervisor in his/her absence.

The receptionist will be dynamic and efficient to serve all guests approaching the Front Desk with a professional, warm and positive attitude. He/she will be a main actor in the check-in and check-out process, which occur at the Front Desk, and will be available to help the guest in any of his request.

The receptionist rotates 24 hours a day.

  • TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The receptionist will be a main actor in the check-in and check-out process.

The receptionist will be very often the first person that a guest will come to see to look for a service or some assistance.

The greeting and attitude of the Receptionist will influence a lot the opinion that the guest will have of the overall hotel.

Being at the service of the guest, the first task of the Receptionist is to be available at any time for a guest and to take extra care of him by an automatic greeting with smile and warm &positive attitude. The guest has to feel expected and welcome at any time. The guest will always be the first priority for a Receptionist.

  • HUMAN RESOURCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Keep good rapport with all staff.

Follow hotel rules and regulations at all times.

Attends all training sessions as scheduled.

Complete knowledge of hotel's facilities and services.

Attend the daily Front Office briefing as well as monthly Front Office meeting.

  • RELATIONS

Establishes effective employee relations and maintain the highest level of professionalism, ethic and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, heads of department and employees.




Work Experience

- Graduated from Vocational/College/University and/or with similar working experience in 04 -05 star Hotel/Resorts

- Office computer literacy

- Good command in English

- Teamwork, Interpersonal, Guest Complaint Handling Skill

- Ability to deal with colleagues/customers professionally

- Excellent in service mind oriented
