Job Summary:
The Finance Analyst is responsible for providing comprehensive financial analysis to support business decision-making, budgeting, and strategic planning. This role will involve analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting with forecasting and budgeting processes. The Finance Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights into business performance, cost optimization, and financial forecasting. Additionally, this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and actionable manner. This is a full-time position based in Dubai and requires relocation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and create detailed reports on the company's performance.
- Develop financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations on financial performance and business trends.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify risks and opportunities.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing financial reports and reconciliations.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against forecasts and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in evaluating investment opportunities, cost reduction strategies, and process improvements.
Job Requirements:
- Only candidates based in Dubai or willing to relocate full-time will be considered.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (advanced degree or certification is a plus).
- Power BI /Tableau or other data visualization.
- SQL/R/Python or other programming/data science experience.
- 35 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the tech industry.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Previous audit experience with Big 4 is an advantage.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
