About the Role

Report to: Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner
Location: Ho Chi Minh
Function: Finance & Actuary | Department: Finance
Type: Individual Contributor

THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner, Senior Lead who is responsible for
- Take full responsibility to handle assigned groups of Business as Usual (BAU) operating expense from end to end including planning, forecasting, actual spending monitoring, management reporting, and preparing other financial analysis as requested.
- Be the representative of Finance to support Departments business requests and work side by side with other sub-Finance teams to smoothly solve BAU issues related to financial process and operation.
- Collaborate with other Finance team members to provide on-going support toward project management including but not limited to expense details booking on SAP, cost-benefit justification and benefit realization monitoring, and other project requests related to Finance's operational and financial process.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Business As Usual expense (50%)

  • Take lead and work closely with Departments to perform annual planning and regular forecast of BAU expense for Departments by expense line as per committed timeline and required approval process.
  • Ensure sufficient monthly expense tracking and monitoring of BAU spending activities via accurate actual expense & timely accrued expense booked on SAP vs. approved BAU's budget/forecast. Any material overrun/underrun in BAU expense vs. plan will have to be investigated and justified.
  • Support line manager to generate adhoc analysis toward the Company's BAU expense to facilitate various review/study on efficiency and effectiveness of spending activities with recommendations for both CFO/CEO and Department Heads.
  • Provide on-going financial consulting support to Departments as the role of a Finance reprentative to facilitate and solve all matters related to BAU financial processes handled by various sub-sections in Finance

2. Project expense (35%)

  • Play proactive role to get involved in other projects, initiated by both Finance & non-Finance team to collaboratively provide digital payment solutions expertise.
  • Manage overall company projects in budget management to ensure financial discipline, project governance and tax risk avoidance.


3.System and closing process (15%)

  • Proactively explore solutions to simplify and improve financial process to provide best support to business yet still meet financial disciplines.
  • Coordinate with other teams in Finance to enhance system and adapt automation where possible to improve work productivity.
  • Review & Reconcile accounting data entries posted by team members (e.g accruals, adjustment, reclassification, reallocation, D&A..) to accounting system and perform proper check to ensure data posted with high level of completeness and accuracy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance. Certificate in CPA/ACCA/CFA is a Plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the role of financial planning and expense management.
  • Life Insurance business is a Plus
  • Financial analysis knowledge is a Must.
  • Accounting knowledge (VAS/IFRS) & experience with accounting system (i.e SAP)
  • Experience in managing finance projects/initiatives & digital transformation
  • Strong logical, analytical and critical thinking to resolve business problems
  • Strong numerical with excellent ability to visualize big picture from set of data details
  • Propensity to plan strategically yet be able to adapt quickly to reality
  • Intermediate required level of such soft skills as communication, time management, teamwork, transferability and proactivity.
  • Proven experience in various stakeholders management and collaborative challenger.
  • Showing spirit of continuous improvement & passion for growth.
